This role is part of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. To ensure that the activities of the electricity calibration laboratory on site remain compliant with local and regional legal requirements
- Adopt management that meets the objectives and requirements of the integrated management system
- Report on the performance of the calibration laboratory activities to the Quality Manager for review of target achievement and as a basis for continuous improvement
- Support projects by facilitating state of the art quality management methods, techniques and tools to ensure the delivery of high quality products, systems or solutions.
- Guide and support calibration laboratory staff to ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory in accordance with regulations and ISO 17025 requirements.
- Develop, update and implement procedures, work instructions and other forms of documentation support.
- To ensure that reference test equipment is calibrated at regular intervals as specified by the laboratory test equipment register.
- Ensure that robustness tests such as reliability and highly accelerated stress tests (ORT, HASS, HALT) are carried out and that all failures are thoroughly investigated (using CI-CAPA).
Researching and reporting internal/customer complaints and quality issues
- Issue reports on internal or external request, such as on tests and investigations, regulatory work and quality status.
- Carry out test counters and reference test equipment to specification
- Maintain internal audit system and calibration laboratory capabilities to provide timely and efficient laboratory services.
- Implement PCBA failure analysis facilities and carry out associated tests and procedures
