What we are looking for:


To support the delivery of customer projects and the provision of maintenance and service in accordance with service level agreements, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Project & Support Engineer to help manage projects and ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget. 


Key Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Head of Customer Projects and Services ANZ, the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • The ability to manage multiple projects using the Project Management Methodology;
  • Conducting internal and external project meetings;
  • Interface with customers in the execution of projects and services to ensure timely and accurate completion of contracted tasks;
  • Provide first and second level support to internal and external customers (software, hardware, systems, solutions etc), analyse information provided and determine best course of action to resolve issues; 
  • Liaising with cross-functional internal teams and external suppliers to provide technical and consultative support to achieve projects and service deliverables;
  • Performing equipment installations, commissioning, investigations and maintenance work;
  • Preparing project documentation and actively participating in contract service level reviews.


Skills and Competencies:


To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has sound experience in a range of technical skills and capabilities including:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a business-related discipline;
  • Minimum 5 years’ customer service and/or service delivery experience;
  • Experience and skills in managing projects using the Project Management methodology;
  • Demonstrated ability working with solutions involving both software and hardware, with a broad technical understanding of metering, communications and IT systems;
  • Relevant experience in the installation, maintenance and operation of devices in the utility sector;
  • Advanced computer skills with solid experience in using Microsoft Office; and
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
