Senior HRIS SuccessFactors Consultant

Purpose and Objectives
The Senior HRIS Consultant will support the overall company and HRIS strategies through an integrated approach to collecting, storing, analysing and optimizing the flow of HR information and its processes throughout the organization. The incumbent will take a leading role in the in the design, build and execution of new and enhanced functionalities in the drive for more streamlined HR process to support the organization. 

 

Projects will touch all aspects of the HR organization such as core HR, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, performance management, talent and succession planning, learning and development.
The role is also responsible for report/ dashboard creation, end-user training, and SuccessFactors system admin. They must be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and be flexible in order to meet business requirements. This position sits within the global HR function supporting the business and the HR team globally as well as liaison between end-users, internal IT and 3rd party integrators. 

 

The Senior HRIS Consultant will have customer-focus orientation: strong "people skills" to work effectively with business leaders, end user community, co-workers, with intellectual curiosity and a must have a desire for self-learning.

 

Role is UK home based.

 

Core Areas of Responsibility


Project Management:
•    Participate in evaluating system solutions for HR. Plan, coordinate and implement new functionality in SuccessFactors
•    Planning and delivery of key HR Systems projects  e.g. maintain the application in line with the annual HR Calendar
•    Coordinate with IT and HR resources on implementation plans. Lead projects and provide project oversight from design through implementation. 
•    Provides updates on project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that occur during the course of the project. 
 

Production Support
•    Provide L2 support to end users, troubleshoot and resolve errors and problems as they relate to SuccessFactors or delivered process, interface job or modules in use. Test and recommend resolutions to users.
•    Supervise the PowerUser community in the regions with management responsibility of the overall HRIS help desk: Lead the delivery of monthly reporting on tickets and their status; analyse SuccessFactors support activity to identify system evolutions, seasonal trends/ peaks of activity to:  anticipate for resource allocation; improvements to existing or creation of new knowledge publications to reduce traffic coming to support teams and identify areas for enhancement to user training  and identify transfer of tickets to L1 or L3
•    Expert in maintenance of core SuccessFactors reference tables, and understanding of high level architecture/ data flows into and out of SuccessFactors and ability to partner with technical colleagues in IT to resolve technical and integration issues
 

Security Management
•    Create & update security role requirements in line with the SuccessFactors security policy 
•    Build and assign appropriate security roles as required, troubleshoot data access issues
•    Manage security access for new modules/ features in SAP, SuccessFactors, 

 

Design & Delivery
•    Interpret, anticipate, assess impacts/ feasibility of end-user requirements and actively deliver on these plans
•    Requirements consolidation & impact analysis. Recommends process improvements based on system functionality and company policy.
•    Lead /participate/document testing of new functionality, and ownership of Change Requests/ Release process
•    Play an leading role in delivery of new SuccessFactors modules or enhanced functionality plus ownership of Workbooks
•    Defines the testing approach as well as Test plan creation and execution. User Guide Creation/ Communications/ manage knowledge-base
•    Know-How of SuccessFactors releases to support the HR Systems roadmap
•    Act as liaison with IT/ 3rd party suppliers and functional users when creating and testing new functionality/ improvements to SuccessFactors modules

 

Business Intelligence
•    Design and production of quality HR metrics reports, dashboards as defined by the business owner
•    Implementation of organization change in the HR system as required by the business owner
•    Conduct regular data analysis and audits
•    Facilitate the completion of, and submit when required, all regulatory reporting requirements
