Manager, Global Channel & Alliances

As a core member of the Global Technology Office Leadership team, the Global Channel and Alliances Manager will help us design, build, and implement a successful Private sector and Federal channel strategy. Success in this position will require: building a strong, productive relationship with existing partners, including Google, Accenture and Carhasoft, strategic identification, recruitment & onboarding of new partners, a focus on growing our business opportunities within the ISV, Google Marketplace and Government Sector channels, and achievement of a marked increase in the number of partner-originated opportunities/deal registrations. The Global Channel and Alliances Manager will work cross-functionally and collaborate with a variety of departments and will report to the CTO of the Global Technology Office.

 

Core Area of Responsibility:
•    Identify, recruit and collaborate with partners in regards to successful engagement, launches, and enablement up to and including the delivery of sales, product and support trainings as required. 
•    Coordinate with Sales and Sales Engineers on technical enablement for relevant partners. Develop a technical enablement strategy that supports the channel sales strategy for the territory. 
•    Support/facilitate engagement of our internal sales and technical teams with partners’ sales and technical teams. 
•    Strategize/coordinate with field marketing on design and execution of marketing programs/events/campaigns to create interest and awareness among partners’ customers. 
•    Develop a business plan outlining how target revenues and objectives for the year will be achieved. 
•    Proactively maintain ongoing knowledge of industry, territory, existing and target channel partner accounts, & competitive landscape. 
•    Maintain thorough knowledge of Partner Solutions, both L+G specific and otherwise products, sales strategies/objectives, value proposition and competition. 
•    Other projects and duties as assigned.

•    New partner development experience as well as experience with decision makers within current relationships within the Channel

•    Customer service orientation (proactively develop partner relationships by listening to and anticipating solutions to their needs)

Educational / Professional Qualifications:
•    A Bachelors degree is required as well as 5+ years of channel sales experience in a Services, Software/SaaS business to business environment with a proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
•    Previous sales experience in the Energy / Utility/ Public Sector space and strong technical knowledge with a broad range of AMI and Metering technologies is preferred
•    Preferrable experience in working with Solution Providers focused in the US Government and GCP/ Google Cloud Community; Carahsoft experience and network a plus
•    Position requires up to 50% travel
