About the Role

Are you a motivated HR professional who enjoys building positive workplace experiences and delivering exceptional HR support?

 

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Officer to join our Laverton North team on a full-time basis, to support the delivery of high-quality HR services across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, learning and development, and HR projects while contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources ANZ & SEA, you will work closely with employees, managers, and external stakeholders to ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with best practice.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent and support selection decisions.
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies where required.
  • Conduct pre-employment checks, including reference and background checks.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programs to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Prepare employment documentation and ensure all new starter requirements are completed.

 

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related enquiries from employees and managers.
  • Support the management of employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary processes.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment conditions.
  • Promote open communication and foster a positive workplace culture.

 

HR Administration & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure employee information is up to date within HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Monitor visa arrangements and employment compliance requirements.
  • Track employee documentation, renewals, certifications, and mandatory records.
  • Support HR audits and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Assist with HR reporting, administration, and ad hoc projects.

 

Learning & Development:

  • Coordinate training programs and learning initiatives to support employee growth and organisational capability.
  • Monitor mandatory training compliance and follow up with stakeholders as required.
  • Support performance management processes and coach managers on goal setting and feedback.
  • Assist with career development, succession planning, and mentoring initiatives.
  • Promote e-learning opportunities and digital learning platforms.

 

HR Projects & Initiatives:

  • Contribute to employee engagement programs and culture-building initiatives.
  • Support regional HR projects and process improvement activities across the ANZ and SEA regions.
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent.

 

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Sound understanding of HR processes, policies, and employment legislation.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration activities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to a multinational corporate environment will be highly regarded.
