The Landis+Gyr Intern program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning.  Positions begin Summer 2023 and applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program working towards their Bachelors degree.  This position is on-site at our Lafayette, Indiana location; this is a paid internship but we do not offer any housing allowance.

Student Objectives/Responsibilities:
Advance Compliance Testing and Applications (50%)
•    Component Qualification and Testing
•    Test planning and meter Verification and validation
•    Fixture Design and implementation

Continuous Improvement Project Focused on Test System Design and Automation (50%)

•    Automation of Environmental Chamber Testing
•    Temperature Rise Automation Project
•    Coop/Intern Training documentation and modernization project. 

•    Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers.
•    Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
•    Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Education/Experience:
An undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics/Applied Mathematics/Data Science/Mechatronics
