We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our R&D function, located in Jyväsklyä, Finland.
As an experienced Project Manager, you lead product development projects and activities (hardware development). You have the overall responsibility for planning the project timelines, deliverables and quality aligning technical and product roadmaps. You also handle the project budgeting and manage resources over the entire project lifecycle in a global matrixed organization.
Your profile:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in technical field (e.g. electronics, IT, software or equivalent).
- 10 years of experience in project management leading successful hardware product development on budget and time
- Extensive experience with Hardware configuration management & change control methodologies
- Experience with project planning and management tools (such as PlanView, Sciforma, MS Project or similar)
- Leadership skills and experience in managing multifunctional teams in matrix organization across several locations, accountability, and ability to make decisions without perfect information
- Strong negotiating skills
- A deep understanding of Product Development Life Cycle Methodology Phases
- Well-developed conflict management skills retaining a collaborative working environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing requirements to launch hardware products
- Strong understanding of development methodologies (Waterfall & Agile) and increment release planning
- Fluent communication and presentation skills in English
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
