Luna – which became a part of Landis+Gyr effective by 2022 - is the leading provider of smart metering devices for electricity, water and heat and associated software solutions for Turkey with headquarter located in Cigli - Izmir. As of today, Luna is the giving service to local and international customers with more than 600 employees within two facilities and improving its products by R&D Center located in Izmir.

Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production goals are met in alignment with company objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop plant management teams to enhance performance and employee engagement.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a safety-first culture, implementing training and best practices to minimize incidents.
• Establish and maintain quality control standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Prepare and manage the plant budget, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Leading supply chain division covering purchasing, logistics and production planning to ensure efficient inventory management and production schedules.
• Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to optimize costs and quality.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation in plant operations.
• Implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
   

Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in plant operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements and cost reductions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
