Job Summary:
This role combines deep expertise in endpoint administration across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments with strong skills in automation, configuration management, and enterprise desktop standardization. The Senior Endpoint Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the End User Compute (EUC) environment, ensuring security, compliance, and performance. This position also supports global IT projects and acts as a technical lead for Intune, SCCM, and endpoint vulnerability remediation.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Microsoft Intune and SCCM for application deployment, patching, and configuration management
- Create and maintain software packages for physical and virtual desktops (VDI)
- Implement and manage Windows Update for Business and Autopilot configurations
- Develop and deploy Intune policies, baselines, and device compliance strategies
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools
- Provide tier-three support for desktop OS and application issues
- Oversee deployment of security patches and ensure endpoint compliance
- Maintain standardized system configurations using configuration management frameworks
- Lead and support global and regional IT projects related to EUC
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams to implement security baselines
- Create reports on device compliance, patch status, and software inventory
- Contribute to hardware lifecycle management and asset transition planning
- Participate in Change Advisory Boards and communicate operational alerts
- Promote continuous improvement, service optimization, and cost reduction
- Maintain documentation and follow internal governance policies
- Support sustainability initiatives through responsible asset management
Requirements:
- Strong experience in endpoint administration or desktop architecture roles
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Windows 10/11, and Mac/Linux OS
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation tools
- Experience with patch and endpoint management solutions (e.g., Automox, PatchMyPC)
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- ITIL certification preferred; Microsoft certifications highly regarded
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Advanced written and spoken English language skills
- Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team environment
- Experience with transformation and change management initiatives
