Coordenador Técnico II
Duties:
- Hardware Devices Team leadership.
- Ownership of hardware development, including component management, reliability deliverables and new designs.
- Having an end-to-end solution perspective, requiring collaboration with hardware and software development teams.
- Collaborates with R&D, Product Management, Supply chain, Manufacturing engineering, Logistics and Quality teams.
- Driving sustainment and product lifecycle management for the electric metering portfolio. (Shipping Capability)
- Support Landis+Gyr’s quality and efficiency processes.
Required Skills
- Experience in R&D engineering teams environment, electronic boards development.
- Deep acknowledge of ECAD development tools.
- Effective understanding of EMC constraints to hardware design.
- Ability to plan and maintain schedules.
- Experience with Product development life cycle – Waterfall
- Knowledge with DFx, PPAP, CAPA, 8D.
- Experience with design to cost.
- Experience with design to quality and reliability design techniques.
- Experience interfacing with suppliers like Contract manufactures and electronic component vendors.
- Ability to interpret standards and regulations in order to apply against new product requirements.
- Understanding of electric metering technology including hardware, standards and protocols.
- Understanding of product life management and product data management (PLM/PDM)
- Experience with component management, type testing and component level validation.
- Understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts.
- Understanding of business fundamentals – roles of various departments in the organization: marketing, sales, economics, manufacturing, business management, engineering.
- Interpessoal communications skills.

Required Experience
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science); Mastering or MBA is a plus.
- Experience with team Management. Related to electric metering is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years with technical role as Hardware developer. Related to electric metering is a plus.
- Desired experience with agile / SCRUM.
- Portuguese and English (written and spoken). Other languages are a plus.
