Purpose of the Role
The Applications Developer is responsible for leading advanced technical work in the analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of complex applications that support the organization’s business systems.

Key Responsibilities

Application Design & Development

• Lead the design of integrated systems, including logical models, process flows, and critical data elements.

• Define database requirements and create designs for complex systems.

• Ensure security policies are embedded in application architecture, including access control and disaster recovery planning.

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft technologies: SharePoint, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure, and .NET.

• Develop, customize, and maintain applications within these platforms.

• Provide training and support for newly developed or customized systems.

• Plan and manage the transition from legacy systems to new platforms.

Business Solutions & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate closely with business application owners to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Analyze business processes and evaluate functional and technical requirements.

• Provide basic project management and third-level support for assigned applications.

Technical Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Advanced)

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving (Advanced)

• Project and change management (Basic to Advanced)

• Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform

• Proficiency in .NET, JSON, SPFX

• Experience with MS SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell

• Ability to build strong relationships with business units and external partners.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields (technical certifications also considered)
• Proven experience developing solutions using Microsoft SharePoint and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Solid experience with .NET development in international or enterprise environments
• Experience integrating multiple Microsoft technologies (Azure, SQL Server, etc.)
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across departments and with external vendors
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
