Technical Implementation Manager

For our Customer Project Department at the company headquarters in Cham, we are looking for a highly motivated Technical Implementation Manager.

 

In this role you will act as primary technical interface to the customer, integration partners and sub-contractors as well as support the sales team in creating basic business cases.

 

Your Core Areas of Responsibility are splitted in different phases:

 

Offering phase:

  • Effort estimation and scope description for potential smaller projects (B/C) and service requests
  • Support sales in creating basic business case (indicating project profit)

 

Project implementation phase:

  • Acting as project manager (commercial responsibility) towards the customer
  • Develop and maintain (change management) the Implementation Schedule with the customer
  • Lead technical resources assigned to the project for creating the scope of work, solution specification, deployment and testing according to contract
  • Manage fault management activities and guide Project Manager (ensure transparency on project impact and trigger escalations)
  • Maintain basic risk management
  • Project reporting towards customer and internal stakeholders (incl. financials, risks, items needing attention / escalation)
  • Obtaining Acceptance Certificates: Customer verified test reports, System and interface acceptance certificates
  • Secure high quality transfer of solution to maintenanc
  • Prepare Project hand-over report with customer PjM

 

Maintenance- & Support phase:

  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation of Services in After Sales phase
  • Install and commission necessary SW updates (patches), manage necessary system and interface extensions and modifications
  • Support 1st / 2nd level in solving calls and requests from customer / operator 

 

Your Profile: 

 

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Energy Sector, Information Technology (or equivalent)
  • Project Management IPMA Level D / Prince 2 or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (B2 level)
  • Fluent in German and French is a plus
