About the Role

Are you passionate about driving the transition to clean energy and help shape the future of EV infrastructure?

 

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the Thundergrid Sales team on a full-time basis.

 

As our Account Manager, you will become a trusted advisor to our customers and electrical contractor partners. You will guide clients through EV charging and energy‑efficiency solutions, manage ongoing relationships, and contribute directly to our sales and revenue growth.

This role combines customer engagement, technical problem‑solving, and project coordination. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders; including government departments, fleet managers, and property groups, to design solutions that elevate the Thundergrid brand and deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, events, social channels, and existing customer relationships.
  • Respond to customer service and sales enquiries as needed.
  • Develop clear scope of works documents tailored to each client’s EV charging or energy‑efficiency needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan EV charging infrastructure for buildings, fleets, and public sites.
  • Review electrical drawings, site plans, and energy data to determine equipment requirements and electrical capacity.
  • Prepare EV charging infrastructure reports and guide customers through the design and installation process.
  • Collaborate with internal Project Managers and attend site reviews.
  • Manage quotes, follow up on leads, and advise customers on consulting vs. simple quoting needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and job notes (HubSpot experience ideal).
  • Support key clients and strengthen long‑term relationships.
  • Develop subscription agreements for ongoing customer support.

 

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Account Management within energy, technology, clean tech, or related fields.
  • Practical exposure to electrical services or environmental sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate report‑writing/analytics skills.
  • Strong customer service background and experience building relationships at all organisational levels.
  • CRM experience (HubSpot preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills and effective communication (written and verbal).
  • Project management capability and ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
