Are you ready to step into a role that will challenge your project management skills and reward your strategic insights? Join our dynamic global PMO as a Senior Project Manager, where you will work on innovative projects to join Landis+Gyr with our partners in joint ventures, product development, and product launches. We're seeking a driven, self-starting individual who can lead teams, manage risks, and drive success in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Guide interdepartmental project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to exact specifications
  • Coordination: Oversee team activities and produce agreed-upon deliverables with executive and functional management
  • Project Management: Manage projects, focusing on scope, schedule, and cost, using agile and stage-gate (waterfall) methodologies
  • Process Development: Create and implement procedures for new products/services
  • Change & Risk Management: Handle change control processes, identify risks, and respond to setbacks
  • Presenting: Weekly updates to C-Suite and Executive management teams (internal and external)
  • Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on project status
  • Budget & Resource Planning: Manage project costs and plan for resource capacity

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Project Management Tools: Extensive knowledge of scheduling tools like Microsoft Project and Planview Enterprise One.
  • Product Development: Understanding the Product Development Life Cycle and change control methodologies. NPI
  • Business Requirements: Gather and interpret internal and external business requirements for joint ventures.
  • Strategic Planning: Skilled in strategic planning and business activity analysis.
  • Process Analysis: Expertise in process improvement.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks while resolving conflicts within project teams while maintaining a collaborative environment.
  • Respect and navigate diverse cultural and organizational landscapes.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities and make informed decisions.
  • Positively influence project progression without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel for project support (up to 25%).

 

Must-Haves:

  • BS degree in engineering, business, or related discipline
  • Executive & C-suite presentation experience in a global or MNC company
  • Joint Venture project management experience
  • 4-6 years in project management in a similar environment
  • Risk Mitigation & Conflict Resolution
  • Proficient in Planview, MS Project, Smartsheet, Azure, DevOps, GCP, etc.
  • Skilled in change orders, burn-up/down charts, and dashboard analysis
  • End-to-end project management
  • Experience in strategy development and working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong background in process analysis and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working in a global setting, respecting cultural and organizational diversities

  • PMP Certification
  • Go-to-Market & Marketing (creating sales and marketing materials)

Pay is in the range of $94,000- $146,851 per year.  The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus.  The actual base salary depends on various factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses.  All candidates are encouraged to apply.
