Job Summary
Provides team leadership to assure optimized planning from product forecast through order scheduling. This leader will be responsible for team management across multiple locations in serving global customers.
Responsible for meeting departmental goals by leading a group through the daily activities required of their team. Successful candidate will coordinate with various departments to make sure planning activities are coordinated from forecast through the S&OP process to order scheduling. Responsibilities will include; exception management, reporting, KPI measurements, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and plan the daily work of cross functional team members of Demand Analysts and Scheduling Analysts. Establish and maintains performance and measurement for team and team responsibilities
• Responsible for owning and driving activities associated with the monthly cycle for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) at L+G
• Assist Supply Chain Analysts and Buyers in maintaining appropriate planning parameters and developing inventory strategies for existing products, new products, and product phase-outs.
• Assists Customer Operations and Supply Chain in all areas of order fulfillment to meet product delivery timeframes.
• Communicate monthly outlook numbers to finance and production based on customer's orders, ship schedules and forecast customer's contractual differences.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of SAP and other planning tools in order to implement continuous improvement measures in the area of forecasting, Materials Resource Planning (MRP), material master data, and purchasing.
• Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and other market facing organizations to ensure the future forecasted product mix is aligned with expected customer needs, demand patterns, and market trends. Identify demand forecast risks and develop effect mitigation plans.

• Excellent computer skills in SAP, IBP, Power BI, Tableau and MS Word products at a minimum.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements/Safety/PPE/OHSAS:
• Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Occasional use of other devices such as: phone, copier/printer/fax, etc.
• Driving Status: Will be required to drive on business for the company 6 times or less per year.
• Physical Requirements: Typical office setting. Required to stand; walk; crouch; or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computer screen for long periods of time. The ability to see, hear, & speak in English. • Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. Pay is in the range of $81,400 - $126,800 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
