Landis+Gyr is seeking a Firmware Intern for Summer 2026 to work on-site fulltime hours Monday through Friday at our Alpharetta, GA location. This is a paid internship but we don't provide housing assistance or relocation so will be considering local applicants.

Project Overview:

Student will work on Cellular and RF based embedded systems. Work will involve working on a physical device communicating via a Low Power Wireless RF Network or Cellular Network. 
In this role, student will get the chance to work on embedded code running in these devices, work on wireless communication networking and Linux networking. 

Student Objectives/Responsibilities:

•    To work on production code for Low Power RF wireless communication stack or Cellular network 
•    To make and maintain low power wireless communication network and test that
•    To test message flow through these systems

Education:

Applicants must be undergraduate students currently in their Sophomore or Junior year working on their Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Graduates and Masters level students will not be considered.
