The Landis+Gyr Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning.  Positions begin Summer 2023 and applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program and available for an alternating rotating semester schedule.

 

Project Overview
Selected student will work with the Hardware Development team to assist in the development and validation of communications technology.  
At the end of the period a presentation is to be given to the Director of Hardware Development.

 

Student Objectives/Responsibilities:
•    Prototype Hardware debug and test
•    Design and test stand-alone hardware and/or Software in support of HW validation efforts
•    Create and modify design documentation in support of development efforts
•    Acquire skills at operating typical lab test equipment and soldering
•    Collaborate with Development Engineers and Engineering Lab Technicians in support of HW development on-going projects
•    Prepare circuit simulations and circuit analysis

 

Education/Experience:
An undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.  Must be able to work 3 rotating semesters before graduation.
