The Landis+Gyr Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning. Positions begin Summer 2023 and applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program and available for an alternating rotating semester schedule.
Project Overview:
Candidates will work in the Wireless communication team. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of Wireless Radio Embedded Software for Electricity, Water, gas meters and Communication gateway. In this role, candidates will develop embedded software for radio and perform unit testing. Work done during this project needs to be documented as per Landis+Gyr processes and will be reviewed by technical architects at multiple stages of the development cycle.
Student Objectives/Responsibilities:
• Configuration of Low Power Wireless communication devices
• Develop / modify the scrips written in Python
• Capture results and modify the scrips/setup to meet end objectives
• Report any issue to supervisor
Education/Experience:
An undergraduate student working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering. Must be able to work 3 rotating semesters before graduation.
